IRS VITA/TCE Program
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs provide free tax preparation services for low-to-moderate-income individuals, seniors, and those with disabilities. These programs aim to ensure taxpayers receive accurate tax returns, maximize refunds, and access credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
Want to volunteer?
We need volunteers for VITA & TCE Tax Preparation. Free training is provided for all volunteers. Sign up today and offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including: people who generally make $64,000 or less, persons with disabilities, limited English-speaking taxpayers, and those over 60 years of age and older.
Volunteer roles include tax preparers, quality reviewers, greeters/intake specialists, and site coordinators, all working together to help individuals navigate the tax process with confidence and ease. Click the button below to signup to become a volunteer today.
